De maniere generale, cette methode d'analyse vise a mieux interpreter les processus et les facteurs qui interviennent pendant toute communication orale. Au cours des dernieres decennies, l'etude des \"discours institutionnels\" (Levinson, 1992)-parmi lesquels le discours didactique qui comprend les conversations exolingues (Porquier, 1984) dans les classes de langues etrangeres-y a suscite un interet grandissant. Son objectif est de decrire des situations representatives de la dynamique de l'interaction entre enseignants et apprenants. Recemment, cette approche s'est focalisee sur les styles communicatifs des enseignants ou experts en langues etrangeres et leurs effets sur les productions des apprenants dans differentes situations d'acquisition. Les interventions des enseignants de L2 (langue seconde) face a l'output des apprenants dans le contexte classe occupent une grande partie des recherches (Markee, 2002). De meme, des cadres theoriques tels que L'Hypothese de l'interaction de Long (Long, 1996) et la perspective neo-vygotskienne (Vygotsky, 1978) postulent que certaines strategies didactiques a des fins correctives pourraient mediatiser l'apprentissage des langues secondes. Cette demarche pourrait etre utile pour identifier les sequences potentiellement facilitatrices dans l'apprentissage ou l'acquisition des langues secondes dans la classe. En outre, ces cadres theoriques pourraient etre valides par les donnes empiriques des etudes conversationnels.
